I find all of my worth in Jesus Christ and it is in him that I find meaning in life. I believe that without him, life wouldn't be worth living. This is my story of how I found God.
God has been so good to me. He has had his hand on my life and has shown himself faithful me. I was blessed enough to have been born into a family that loves me and loves the Lord. My parents serve the Lord in everything they do and have been a great encouragement to me and my walk with God. I gave my life to the Lord at a young age when I realized the great thing that Jesus Christ had done for me on the cross. Even as a young child my heart was broken and I was so thankful for what God did in sending his only son to die for me.
It was when I was in middle school when I fully understood the amazing relationship I could have with my savior. I chased hard after him and wanted everything I did to please him. I told myself that there was nothing that could stop me from following his leading in my life.
My high school years were a huge season of growth for me as a Christian. I have been blessed with many godly mentors and friends to encourage my desire to follow the Lord. God has brought me through many trials in the past few years and has made me stronger though them. He has taught me so much about what is important; what is eternal.
The most exciting part of life to me is being able to share his love and message of salvation with others. Going through the global ministry of my church, I have had the opportunity to go on many short term mission trips. God is also showing me that I don't have to go oversees to be a missionary; there are people that need Him right here in my own backyard! There is no greater joy to me than to see others find the life that I have already found through Jesus Christ.
I strive to spend time with the Lord every day, wanting to grow closer to Him and learn more about him. To bring glory to His name is my ultimate goal in life. Whatever I am doing, I want to reach out to others around me and share what Christ has done in my life. Someday, I look forward to hearing God say “Well done, my good and faithful servant!” Until that glorious day, I want to live out a faith that is radical and reckless.
